The independent drives promise complete control over each log as the product is delivered to the blade. Even when log lengths vary, the slicing system automatically compensates for the differences and all of the logs finish at the same time. This advantage means consistent slice thickness, accurate portion weights, minimal giveaway and faster payback times. For natural and irregularly shaped products, Formax®’s PowerScanner™ option offers true 3-D imaging.
Advanced automation simplifies sanitation and ensures more thorough washdowns for greater food safety. Formax®’s revolutionary safety laser scanner technology reduces mechanical guarding and creates a more open and hygienic environment. With the touch of a button, the slicing deck pivots into the horizontal position to allow easy access to all components and surfaces.
